5107 Romford Obelisk on railway embankment, approximately 25 metres east of the Whalebone Bridge TQ 48 NE 8/7 II 2.

Circa 1861; Coal Tax post, marking the extent of the Metropolitan Police District, 6 ft high on a stone base with moulded capping. There is an inscription on the face towards the railway line.
