A mid C19 terrace. 3 storeys stock brick, the ground floor stuccoed with long and short quoins and Gibbs surrounds to the windows and doorcases of Nos 51 and 52. Hipped slate roofs with paired bracket cornices. 2 sashes each with glazing bars intact. Stringcourse between ground and 1st floor. Round-headed sash windows and round-headed doorcases.

Nos 38 to 59 (consec) and the Emmanuel Baptist Church form a group. (The Emmanuel Baptist Church is a local interest building).
