CORBRIDGE AYDON (North side) NZ 06 NW 6/106 House opposite Aydon House

GV II

House, late C18/early C19 altered mid-C19. Rubble with roughly-shaped quoins and some cut dressings; Welsh slate roof with yellow brick stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central boarded door under rustic porch, flanked by 16-pane sash windows; 12-pane sashes, the central in smaller opening, above. All windows renewed, in openings with cut lintels and sills; traces of earlier wider openings.

End stacks. Low forecourt wall with flat coping.
