Laing undertook a civil engineering contract for London and Thames Haven Oil Wharves Limited in the mid 1950's. This involved the construction of large oil tanks at Thames Haven, close to the sites of the Shell Haven and Coryton Refineries.
This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
