Description

The haulage and parcels shed was built by Laing in the very late 1950s for British Road Services (later National Freight Corporation). It had a large unobstructed floor area made possible by the use of massive lattice girders supporting the structure.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
