Description

The work on the Stafford By-pass started in June 1960 and was opened to traffic in August 1962. The photograph is looking along the railway line in the direction of Wolverhampton and shows the Dunston Farm access bridge nearing completion.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
