Description

W M Johnson and his wife are posed beside a Ford Pilot car which was manufactured by Ford UK from August 1947 until 1951. The photograph was taken during a Laing staff outing to Weymouth. Although no date has been recorded by the photographer, a staff outing is know to have taken place in June 1948.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
