Description

In 1947, after a seven year break, Laing had resurrected their 'Area Outings' for staff and their families, with trips taking place in May and June. The company had visited Felixstowe the previous year and returned in 1953; this trip was for around 300 staff from East Anglian contracts.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
