Description

30,000 tonnes of rose red sandstone was supplied by this quarry, owned by Stanton and Bettany Ltd, and another close by called Fielding's Quarry.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
