Description

The Lanchester Building was designed by the architect Basil Spence with Ove Arup and Partners as consulting engineers. It was built by Laing for the University of Southampton to house the Departments of Electronics and other engineering departments. This photograph may have been taken for Laing's monthly newsletter 'Team Spirit'.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
