Description

The science block housed chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics and general science laboratories on the ground and first floor, and on the second floor was a lecture theatre with raised seating, an optical laboratory and geography and technical drawing rooms.

This photograph featured in the October 1959 issue of Team Spirit, the Laing company newsletter in a story documenting the project's completion.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
