Description

The building shown was to be used for stripping down vehicles, mostly tractors, packing them for export. The building included a canteen and staff dining room, nearby medical unit with toilets above. Work on the site began in April 1960.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
