Description

In the album the typed caption below the photographs reads '...Consists of 12 beams precast on site. 4 of these beams are cantilevered over a brick-faced mass concrete pier at each side, these in turn support the centre beams, this gives a total effective span of approximately 115'0". There are six bridges of this type on the motorway.'

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
