Description

Derby Hall was designed by architect Brian O'Rorke and was the third hall of residence built by Laing for the University of Nottingham, opening at the beginning of 1963. It consisted of a dining hall, library, common rooms, warden's house, staff house and accommodation blocks for male students on either side of a quadrangle approached by an arched entrance.
