Description

In October 1964, an article in Laing's monthly newsletter 'Team Spirit' records that a complex maze of structures all within 1,000 feet was built near the Dog and Partridge pub, including twin culverts, a box-type road bridge, a cattle access tunnel and a twin bore taking Saredon Brook. Saredon Brook passes under the motorway at grid reference SJ9432008679.
