Description

This long service and retirement presentation was held in Brent Town Hall after Laing's Annual General Meeting attended by 800 shareholders. Miss Ivy A McMinn, shown in the photograph, had joined the company in 1946 at Plymouth and worked as a secretary at Eggborough.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
