Description

The Doddington Estate, just off Battersea Park Road, was designed by architects Emberton, Tardrew & Partners. The estate, which included tower blocks of flats, was built between 1967-71 by Laing for Wandsworth London Borough Council. It was built using their 12M Jespersen building system, consisting of prefabricated parts and precast concrete panels produced at their concrete factory in Andover.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
