Description

Steel reinforcement bars have been left exposed in places. These were to tie into the structure of future phases of building at the site. The foundations of the car park were built to support the addition of two ten storey blocks extending from the roof. It was planned that these would be halls of residence for the City University.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
