Description

In 1969, Laing Pipelines established their pre-yield depot at Bottesford Airfield near Grantham. Large diameter steel pipes for gas feeder mains could be tested at the depot to yield under hydraulic pressure.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
