In 1969, Laing Pipelines established their pre-yield depot at Bottesford Airfield near Grantham. Large diameter steel pipes for gas feeder mains could be tested at the depot to yield under hydraulic pressure and there was also a large corrugated steel fabrication shop.
This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
