This photograph is part of a batch taken to show work carried out by the Plant Department of John Laing and Son Ltd. The work was phase three of construction at the brewery which involved installing 17 1/2 tonne vessels on two sides of the building at once. The photograph of S Marlin carrying out the checking was published in Laing's monthly newsletter 'Team Spirit'.
This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
