Description

Laing were responsible for the construction of Phase V of the Barbican development, which included the Barbican Arts Centre, Frobisher Crescent and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. In October 1977, the Guildhall School Of Music and Drama was opened by the Lord Mayor of London, marking the completion of the first major section of the Phase V contract.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
