Description

This photograph was published in January/February 1979 in Laing's monthly newsletter 'Team Spirit'. It shows Lady Isobel Laing, wife of W Kirby Laing (second from left) receiving an orchid from Edith Stanborough (right) with Mrs Annie Walton, club secretary (left) and Mrs Deborah Ewing. The dinner and dance was held in the restaurant at Laing's Mill Hill office. There was a three-course turkey dinner, dancing and tombola draws throughout the evening.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
