Description

An article published in May 1979 in Laing's monthly newsletter 'Team Spirit' describes how the BBC spent two days filming Laing apprentice bricklayer Roger Byrne. The filming was for the BBC Schools television series 'Going to Work' in a programme called 'Life Styles', later transmitted on BBC1 on 15th October 1979.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
