Description

Construction of the church began in February 1980, using a laminated timber frame with brick cladding and precast concrete planks forming the floors. The building contained a hall, school room, dining area, kitchen, crèche, and a flat for the minister. This photograph was published in the March 1981 edition of 'Team Spirit', the Laing newsletter.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
