Vauxhall Cross, also known as the SIS or MI6 Building, was designed by the architect Terry Farrell and was built by Laing Management Contracting for Regalian Properties. It was sold to the government, becoming the headquarter offices for the British Secret Intelligence Service or MI6. Laing won the contract for the building in 1989, with ground works starting in 1990 and completion of the structure taking place in 1992.
This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
