Description

The exact location at which this photograph was taken is unclear, but it is on a section of the M6 on which the contractors were Laing, probably in Staffordshire or Cumbria. In the negative for the collection, the company has recorded 'MC/12 motorway M6'.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
