Description

A unique form of dome construction was used for the domed roof at the London Central Mosque. The roof of the prayer hall was built prior to the construction of the walls, therefore extensive support work was needed to hold the roof up.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
