Description

Laing’s Southern Region was awarded a £3.8m contract by the Metropolitan Police for the construction of a divisional police station at South Norwood. Work began at the 2100 square metre site in 1986. The structure comprised a reinforced concrete framed building and reinforced concrete basement with brick cladding, services and external works.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
