On 17th April 1988, 15 members of the John Laing company competed in the London Marathon for charity. EPL Plant and Access Hire Ltd entered a team of three runners, shown in this photograph, from left to right, B. Roberts, G. Johnson, and B. Heydon. The men raised £1,700 for the Laing Children's Hospital Appeal.
