Description

Laing's Eastern Region division began work on Nicholson House for Southend-on-Sea Borough Council in May 1987. The block of 96 units of sheltered accommodation with 3 warden's flats was Phase I of the project. Phase II was a second block of 107 flats known as Barringtons on which work began in June 1988. Both blocks were completed in 1990.
