The small shopping centre at Carlyle's Court was built by the Laing Northern Division. The space was designed to provide approximately 14 shop units for high class speciality shopping. The groundworks stage of the construction project revealed a Roman Road and settlement at the site.
This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
