Laing London and South East were contracted in the early 1990’s to carry out development work at Durrington High School for West Sussex County Council. Phase I consisted of three new blocks housing science laboratories, technology workshops, classrooms, a library and other staff and administration areas. Phase II comprised a new sports hall and dining room. Other work at the site involved the refurbishment of the Rodmell Building, provision of a new drama centre, additional classrooms, and the demolition of the 1960’s Boulevard Building.
