Description

The Canadair North Star was a development of the Douglas DC-4 produced between 1946 and 1950. When operated by the British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC), these aircrafts was known as the 'Argonaut'. The aircraft in this photograph has the registration G-ALHJ.

BOAC later merged with three other airlines to become British Airways.
