Description

This is the original Fox and Hounds Inn on the west side of High Street, opposite Lower Farm House, which was demolished in the 1950s. The pub now called the Fox and Hounds was formerly the Waggon and Horses. Its street-straddling inn sign dates from c.1955 and crosses Church End rather than High Street.
