Description

Scuplted by John Charles Felix Rossi (1762/1839) Marble, free-standing monument dedicated to Captain James Robert Mosse (1746/1801) and Captain Edward Riou (1762-1789). Two winged female figure sit at the base of a podium, holding portraits of each captian, with an inscription on the podium between them. The podium sits on a rectangular base that has a trident carved on it, but this seems to have been damaged.
