The caption on the reverse of the photograph reads: “Care and maintenance of rubber gloves. (Pictures taken at St. Ormond St. Hosp.) Picture shows rubber gloves being washed in warm soapy water on the wrong side as taken off. They are then turned and washed on the right side, and then rinsed in clean warm water.”
