Description

This view was taken from nearby Warminster Road in the parish of Monkton Combe in Avon, looking across the valley into the parish of Winsley in Wiltshire. The Dundas Aqueduct was built circa 1805 by the civil engineer John Rennie.

Archival History

This photograph was previously held in the collection of the National Buildings Record, and was donated to them by a Mrs Davies on the 4th of September 1953.
