Description

51 Queen Street is in the background of the photograph, and can be located by the round clock face ssupported by a large bracket. The building is the former premises of a wine merchant, built around 1898 and designed by W.J. Jennings of Canterbury. It was built in a Victorian-Tudor style. The front facade has a central entrance flanked by granite columns and a short circular tower on the south-east corner.
