The bowling green at the Duke of York public house was abandoned during the 1930s. In 2006 it was believed to be the last surviving bowling green in central Birmingham, and may date to the 1790s. This photograph was published on page 109 of 'Played in Birmingham' by Steve Beauchampe and Simon Inglis.
