Description

The Sparkhill Baths were opened in 1931. It housed a main swimming pool and a learners' pool, which is reputedly the earliest example of a learners' pool in Britain. The pool closed in 2008 and the building was subsequently demolished. The site was redeveloped as a new swimming pool and fitness centre which opened in 2017.
