Description

The baths were designed by Chester Button and the Smethwick Borough Engineer, Roland Fletcher. It is considered to be a very good, complete example of inter-war civic architecture in a Moderne style, and is Grade II Listed. The swimming pool was still in use in the 21st century. This photograph was published on page 139 of 'Played in Birmingham' by Steve Beauchampe and Simon Inglis.
