Description

The fire, which is said to have started with a spark from a railway engine, occurred on 4th August 1905. It destroyed 13 cottages making 36 people homeless.

Archival History

This photograph was withdrawn from the open Red Box Collection for conservation reasons during the 2011-2012 Red Box Project.
