A stamp on the reverse of the print reads 'G.W.R. Engineer's Office, Paddington, Photographic Department. Negative No. B Box 1 8 6-13, Negative taken Jul 1928, Print despatched Aug 1928'.

Archival History

This image was received from Timothy Lingard, owner of the Gallery Lingard in Pall Mall, London, who specialised in architectural drawings and perspectives. These images were part of the larger Sotheby's auction lot 524, 28/04/1988, and were unwanted by Lingard and subsequently donated to the N.M.R.
