Description

Photographs taken for Kathryn Davies from the EH Guildford Office as part of the conservation program for the former Headmaster's Chamber at Eton College. Panelling had been removed to expose the paintings, check their condition and carry out any remedial works as required. The photographs are mostly of a wall painting above a fireplace in the Chamber, but include also some photographs of panelling and of steps used for birching.
