Leonard Huxley (1860 - 1933), writer and editor, lived at 16 Bracknell Gardens from 1916 until his death; his sons Julian Huxley (1887 - 1975), scientist and the first Secretary General of UNESCO, and the writer Aldous Huxley (1894 - 1963), lived there briefly during that time.
