For 'Quaker Meeting Houses.' Photographer's note: 'Meeting House from 1729 with stables of 1731 and schoolroom of 1745. John Dalton studied here as a child.' The burial ground has a memorial to Dalton, 'chemist, physicist and meteorologist best known for introducing the atomic theory into chemistry and his research into colour blindness.'
