Description

For Heritage at Risk 2023. Photographer's note: ' Late C19 cast iron cylindrical electricity substation with three rows of moulded cast iron patterned panels, projecting cornice, and foliated finial. Made by the British Electric Transformer Co of Hayes, Middlesex. Recently refurbished by Heritage of London Trust, the transformer was one of the first in the country to be installed.'
