Description

Forty-eight sheets created in 1992 forming a comprehensive photogrammetric survey of the extant masonry of the castle. Three of the sheets in this series were definitely created by the City of Hereford Archaeology Unit; the remaining sheets are consistent in size, focus, format and style, meaning that it is reasonable to suppose that they were also created by the same unit, although this has not been confirmed.

The series includes twenty-two sheets of photogrammetric exterior and interior elevations of walls and rooms at the castle, with twenty relating overlay sheets showing similar elevations in less detail.

There are also five sheets showing full-size drawings of fragments of mouldings found at the castle. One further sheet shows a ground floor plan of rooms within the castle structure.

This series contains thirteen Oversized Drawings.
