Description
The series contains 65 ring binders and 'Twinlock' binders of black and white and colour contact photographic prints glued to pages showing locations in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
These albums contain photographs made from negatives taken by Aerofilms between about 1919 and 2006 and were maintained by the company as a geographical index into the negative collection for the purpose of processing customer inquiries. The NMR continues to use the albums for this purpose. Most prints in the album have a location, date and negative number recorded beside them.
The albums include oblique air photographs and ground photographs and the print formats are varied.
